President & Master Distiller

As President and Master Distiller, Andrew Koenig has led Koenig Distillery since founding it in 1999. With family roots in Idaho ag and a passion for artisan spirits, Andy is involved in every facet of the business—from working the orchards and managing production to guiding long-term strategy and growth. 

There’s no such thing as a typical day for Andy. One moment he might be checking on the stills or harvesting fruit, and the next he’s collaborating with the team on new projects. His hands-on leadership style and commitment to quality keep Koenig Distillery constantly evolving—without ever losing sight of its roots.

Vice President & Creative Director

As Vice President and Creative Director, Jill Koenig brings vision and versatility to Koenig Distillery. She leads the creative direction behind the brand—designing labels, marketing materials, and advertising. She also does event coordination, social media management, sponsorships, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Jill’s eye for detail extends beyond marketing—she’s the one behind the distillery’s inviting design, selecting everything from paint colors to furnishings. Whether she’s working behind the scenes or connecting with the community, Jill thrives on collaboration and creativity.

Business Manager

Allison oversees the financial operations at Koenig Distillery and supports key human resources functions. Her day-to-day work includes managing communications with the company’s bank and accountant, analyzing financial reports, and contributing to strategic business decisions. She also plays a critical role in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring the company maintains a strong financial foundation for continued growth.

Since joining the team in 2022, Allison has enjoyed being part of a growing, family-owned business where collaboration and hands-on involvement make a meaningful impact. She values the close-knit team environment and the shared dedication to quality and craft. Her passion for supporting small businesses and commitment to excellence shine through in every project she undertakes. Whether streamlining financial processes or helping foster a positive workplace culture, Allison brings a thoughtful and proactive approach to her work.

Whiskey Club Manager

A true Koenig Distillery veteran, Katrina embraces her role at Koenig as the Whiskey Club and Tasting Room Manager with excitement. Over a decade of building relationships with countless guests, she's cultivated genuine friendships and is known for ensuring every visit is memorable while sharing her profound passion for Koenig's handcrafted spirits. Katrina also deeply loves bringing the community together and finding connections among people through their shared enjoyment of spirits. Indeed, the Koenig team and guests have become her second family.

She believes the exceptional quality of Koenig's products speaks volumes and truly sells itself. Her approach is therefore focused on answering customer questions and helping them discover the perfect spirit for their taste. Always a learner, Katrina looks forward to exploring future releases alongside Master Distiller Andy, and to building strong relationships with Whiskey Club members, guests, and her fantastic team!

Office Manager

Since joining Koenig Distillery in 2018, Michelle has become an essential part of the team, wearing many hats to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. Her responsibilities span a wide range—from managing freight logistics and government reporting to overseeing purchasing, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and inventory. She keeps us all on our toes and makes sure we never forget anyone’s birthday.

Michelle also serves as a key point of contact between employees and barrel owners, and has taken on the responsibility of visiting Idaho liquor stores to restock shelves and educate liquor store staff about our locally crafted products.

Orchard & Grounds Supervisor

Rosario is a vital part of the Koenig Distillery team, known for his dedication to working outdoors and his expert care of our orchards. He has personally pruned every tree on our 70-acre property and tends to the land daily—through every season and all kinds of weather.

Beyond orchard care, Rosario is always ready to lend a hand with special projects. When we began expanding our on-site barrel storage, he stepped in to build custom pallets, showcasing his versatility and craftsmanship. His hard work and attention to detail play a key role in both the beauty and productivity of our property. Thanks to Rosario’s efforts, our orchards continue to thrive, producing the exceptional fruit that helps make our spirits award-winning.

Lead Warehouse & Bottling Associate

Delfina joined Koenig Distillery in 2011, originally as a temporary warehouse worker—but it didn’t take long for her dedication and work ethic to shine. Today, the warehouse is proudly known as "Delfina’s warehouse," and for good reason.

She oversees all labeling and packaging operations, and quite literally touches every single bottle that leaves the Distillery. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures each product is prepared with care, and she brings pride—and a smile—to everything she does.

Production/ Operations Manager

Glenn is an integral part of Koenig Distillery’s operations and his connection to the Koenig family goes back to 2009 before he retired from the Boise Fire Department. As Production & Facilities Manager, Glenn oversees all aspects of production—from distilling and blending to bottling and day-to-day facility operations.

His role includes maintaining equipment, managing the upkeep of the distillery grounds, and even helping harvest fruit from the orchard. Glenn works closely with Andy to keep everything running smoothly, combining hands-on skill with years of experience.

Outside Sales Representative 

Helen first joined Koenig Distillery in 2023 as a Tasting Room server, where her warm, welcoming energy and bubbly personality quickly made her a guest favorite. Now part of the Sales team, Helen brings that same enthusiasm on the road—visiting bars, restaurants, and doing liquor store tastings to promote Koenig’s handcrafted spirits. 

Whether she's leading a tasting or introducing our products to a new account, Helen’s genuine love for connecting with people shines through in everything she does.
